Αγαπητές φίλες, αγαπητοί φίλοι,

Μπορεί να βρισκόμαστε μακριά από την πατρίδα κι εδώ οι απόκριες να φαντάζουν λίγο ξένες, ωστόσο όπου υπάρχουν Έλληνες υπάρχει και η δυνατότητα να απολαμβάνουμε μερικές από τις παραδόσεις μας και να αισθανόμαστε πως τελικά η Ελλάδα είναι παντού και κυρίως μέσα μας.  

Με αυτό το πνεύμα, η Ελληνική Κοινότητα σας προσκαλεί σε βραδιά εορτασμού της Τσικνοπέμπτης 20 Φεβρουαρίου 2020, στο εστιατόριο “Σαντορίνη” (ξενοδοχείο JW Marriott, West Bay, City Centre) με ειδική προσφορά για μπουφέ που εξασφαλίσαμε, και σας προσκαλούμε να τσικνίσουμε και να χορέψουμε όλοι μαζί, με ή και χωρίς μεταμφίεση (η επιλογή δική σας). Συνοπτικά στοιχεία ακολουθούν και το αναλυτικό μενού παρατίθεται στο τέλος του παρόντος:

• Ημερομηνία: 20.02.2020, ώρα: 19.00 – 22.30

• Μπουφές με σαλάτες, ορεκτικά, ψητά λαχανικά, σουβλάκια, μπριζόλες, παϊδάκια, και επιδόρπια. 

• QAR 150 ανά άτομο για ενήλικές και παιδιά άνω των 12 ετών

• QAR 75 ανά παιδί 6-12 ετών 

• Δωρεάν για παιδιά κάτω των 6 ετών. 

• Στις τιμές περιλαμβάνεται ο μπουφές, το νερό κι ένα αναψυκτικό ανά άτομο.

• Κρασιά και ποτά χρεώνονται πρόσθετα σε εκπτωτικές τιμές (happy hour) για όλη τη βραδιά.

Λόγω της αυξημένης ζήτησης και της δεδομένης χωρητικότητας θα τηρηθεί αυστηρή σειρά προτεραιότητας στις κρατήσεις, γι’ αυτό παρακαλούμε σπεύσατε για την άμεση αποστολή της κράτησής ακολουθώντας τα παρακάτω βήματα: (α) δηλώστε τη συμμετοχή σας χρησιμοποιώντας τον παρακάτω σύνδεσμο, και (β) στέλνετε το ανάλογο ποσό στον νέο μας τραπεζικό λογαριασμό που ακολουθεί, (γ) στείλτε μας στο greeksocietydoha@gmail.com το αποδεικτικό της πληρωμής για την επιβεβαίωση της κράτησής σας.

Tsiknopempti 2020

Dear friends,

In most of the countries that celebrate something similar they call it Fat Thursday, but we Greeks call it Tsiknopempti. It is the last Thursday (Pempti) of the 2nd week of the Carnival that is dedicated to meat-eating, and it is supposed to be celebrated with a lot of Tsikna (the smell of the grilled meat). 

To enjoy the occasion and honor the tradition the Greek Society of Doha invites you at a Tsiknopempti celebration this Thursday (20-Feb-2020) evening, at “Santorini” Restaurant (JW Marriott, West Bay, City Centre) for buffet dinner, dancing and celebration, with or without carnival disguise (your choice). The key information about the event follows:

• Date: 20.02.2020, Time: 19.00 – 22.30

• Buffet dinner with salads, starters, grilled vegetables, chicken, meat, lamb chops, and assorted desserts, 

• QAR 150 per person above 12 years old, 

• QAR 75 per child between 6-12 years old,

• Free of charge for children below 6 years old, 

• Wines and other drinks are charged extra at happy-hour pricing during the event.

Due to the high demand and limited capacity we will accept reservations at a strictly “first come - first served” basis. Therefore, to confirm your presence, we call you to send us your booking request ASAP using the following link and then send the equivalent amount to our new bank account and share with us the copy of your payment via email.
